Bridge Guideline: June 2001 NEBT Northeast Bulb Tee Post-Tensioned Design Guidelines (227.8kb PDF File) This report covers design, detailing and construction specifications for post-tensioning and splicing of the New England Bulb Tee (NEBT) girder. Splicing of the girders allows for longer span lengths and the elimination of intermediate bridge piers. Post-tensioning can be used to make bridges continuous. If a State standard exists it will take precedence over these guidelines & details.
