The Precast Parapets used here allowed for large profile shapes of various radii without the addition of massive exterior steel supports which would have been required for other building materials. The deep red color is an intrical part of the mix design and compliments the masonry exterior

In addition, the large architectural precast arch in this building's walk thru cooridor acted as a structural lintel for the masonry above.
